First Frost

Fall is finally here in Nashville. This is the first of my fall photos, taken this morning in the backyard. Frost is such a delicate thing - briefly with us in these early fall mornings. In this shot you can already see it fading away to dew on the left where the sunlight has touched it. Just a reminder to enjoy the beauty around us while it is there!
The lighting in this shot is totally natural - no flash!
